During the first wash of raw selvedge jeans, the color (indigo) can be fixed to limit color bleeding.

How to do it:
• Wash the jeans inside out
• Use cold water
• Add a little white vinegar and possibly a spoonful of salt
• Soak for 30 to 45 minutes
• Rinse and then air dry

Vinegar helps stabilize indigo dye, which reduces color loss and transfer onto clothing or shoes.
